Ages 14 and up.

By engaging and taking an active role in understanding the issues and concerns of my clients, I help define new ways to identify and solve problems in a comfortable, non-judgmental and nurturing environment.  I work with people struggling with issues at home, school, workplace or social situations. My expertise includes treating individuals with wide ranging emotional and behavioral issues. I also have extensive experience in helping struggling families improve their relationships.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  I received my Master’s degree at National-Louis University in Community Counseling. Having a strong interest in helping families and trauma victims, I continued my education by earning a certificate in Parent Coaching (for parents of at-risk adolescents and young adults), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.

I use an diverse range of therapies depending on the clients' needs, and work

collaboratively with them to devise an appropriate treatment plan with

measurable goals to improve successful outcomes. This includes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR), a unique therapy that is especially effective in treating trauma.  I am also highly experienced in using CBT, DBT and ERP among other therapies. Some of the presenting issues I specialize in include: OCD, Anxiety, Phobias, Parenting/Family Conflict, Trauma, School/Academic, Stress Management,  Relationship Issues, Self-Esteem, Social Skills and Adjustment Issues.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising, playing poker with my girlfriends and spending time with my family.
