Treatment Philosophy

I believe that it is important to value ourselves and value our thought process throughout our journey. I pride myself on being a therapist who can listen to my clients and support them in any stage of their healing.  My office space is a “judgement free zone” where my clients should feel comfortable and encouraged to thrive in any area. I am a firm believer that therapy can allow us to gain an increased sense of self-worth, dignity, and self awareness and utilize a non-judgmental, supportive, and empathetic approach. I am passionate about my clients’ success, and I strive to promote a positive therapeutic relationship in which each client knows that our time spent together is a place where personal growth is possible. I create treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual client. I enjoy learning about the personal histories of each client with whom I have the pleasure of working.

  • I am experienced in the areas of couples therapy, adult, adolescent, parent-child, and family therapy. I have spent my career working with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I have worked with clients to tackle issues stemming from depression, anxiety, trauma, guilt/shame, grief/loss, life transitions, self esteem, and relationship conflicts. I have experience utilizing a strength-based, trauma informed, solution-focused approach. I often implement motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my clinical approach.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my three children, cooking, swimming, spending time in nature and am passionate about walking many miles.
